Collette Vacations has just announced that it is participating in the "person to person" project made possible under new rules implemented in 2011 to encourage more contact between United States citizens and the citizens of Cuba. The company is licensed to offer educational tours to Cuba under the rules of this program. I have arranged with Collette Vacations to organize a tour to Cuba in the latter part of February, 2013. This has been a 25-year dream of mine and I have posted preliminary information about the tour on my CUBA TOUR web page!

The festival's displays go way beyond traditional hot air balloons. The Wells Fargo Special Shape Glowdeo is a can't-miss event, when animals, monsters, cars, and other funky-shaped balloons are fired up at once, followed by a huge fireworks display.
